When I’m looking for subject matter, I usually head west in my old pickup truck. Somewhere between Lena and Elizabeth, Illinois, I turn either right or left (makes no
difference as long as the road is gravel) and proceed to get lost on the winding back roads. I have found some great subjects by this method, such as Evening Comes To Jo Daviess County. Couldn’t find this place again if I tried, but it does my heart good to know this peaceful place is out there...somewhere. |
