After seeing the movie Witness, I was so intrigued hy the Amish that I traveled to Lancaster Pennsylvania to see if I could find some good subjects. A spring storm had just moved through the countryside when I came upon this Amish farmer leading and driving an assortment of mules and draft horses. A bright shaft of sunlight broke through the clouds andl highlighted animals and man in just the right way. Notice the warm, reflected light that touches the underside of the man’s face and the
bellies of the horses. |
